About - Lucy Tallowin

Lucy Tallowin I am a Chartered Senior Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapist working for East Coast Community Health, a certified Pilates Instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and registered with the Health Professionals Council. I currently run Pilates classes in the Leiston area, offer 1:1 pialtes in your own home as well as classes for swimming clubs, synchronized swimmers and football teams. In 2016 I started working as a presenter for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute teaching new Pilates and HIT instructors all over the UK. I am also head coach for Norwich Synchronized swimming club.
I have full insurance covered by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and FitPro.
A little bit more about me...

I qualified with a 1st class BSc (hons) from the University of Bradford in 2007 and since then have worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Mansfield, Nottingham, Norfolk and Suffolk as well as doing volunteering work in the Red Cross War Memorial Childrens Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. I spent a year living and working in Sydney, Australia and then travelling back via, Fiji, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Since returning to the UK in 2011 I have been based in Suffolk and loved living and working in this area. As you can see from above I keep myself very busy and love the mixture of work and opprtunities my job provides.

Pilates is one of the fastest growing forms of exercise in the world, combined with my Physio background all my classes are designed to improve flexibility, body awareness, muscle tone and strengthen throughout as well as having a rehabilitative role in the form of back injuries and prevention of re-occurrurences.
